If you want to play 4 aside social beach volleyball: Social teams play once a week but generally have no trainings.
Mount Maunganui: The Speights Summit Social Beach Volleyball Competition at Mount Main Beach. This runs each year from Oct-Dec and again in Feb-Mar. There are four grades: Extremely Social (haven't played before and not athletic). Social (have played before, or have athletic players in team). Competitively Social (some experienced or very athletic players). Competitive (have all played plenty of volleyball)
You generally need a team to enter but if you are just one person please use this form on our finder service and we will do our best to help. Entry details will be online at least 3-4 weeks before the start of each round, for the currently available info click here.

If you want to play 2 aside semi-competitive beach volleyball: Alongside the tournaments for competitive players at the Mount there are also tournaments for less competitive players, the opposition will be mainly secondary school students that are learning the game, with a few social adults in there having a go at the two aside form of the game.
