VIP Tasks

Tasks that VIPs may be involved in:

When doing any of these tasks a VBOP staff member will ensure beforehand that you are comfortable with what you are doing

Coaching a volleyball team (beach or indoor)

Refereeing for a volleyball team (indoor)

Refereeing at an event (beach or indoor)

Setting up nets, tents, umbrellas at beach volleyball tournaments

Collecting money and taking registrations at beach volleyball tournaments

Helping in the tent at beach volleyball tournaments (some/all of the following: answering queries, assistance with the draw, keeping courts to time, issuing first aid)

Commentary and presentation of awards at beach volleyball tournaments

Court controlling at indoor volleyball tournaments (some/all of the following: answering queries, collecting score sheets, processing results, keeping courts to time)

Involvement in national events (some/all of the following: canteen, t-shirt sales, opening ceremonys, other tasks to help event run smoothly)

Billeting international athletes during events or training camps held here (youth indoor, adult beach generally)

Assisting with the social beach volleyball BBQ

Helping to find sponsorship for Volleyball BOP events
