VBOP will be delivering Level II Grow (Te Tipu) Coach Award. Activities focusing on Understanding yourself, Understanding your athletes, Developing team culture and Volleyball performance keys and practical coaching sessions.

Opportunity for you to sit back, relax and learn from some of Bay of Plenty’s top Volleyball coaches.
Four coaches will be covering the four key skills in Volleyball (Dig, Serve, Set and Spike). They will explain their own teaching points for the skill and demonstrate their go to drills to teach technique and grills (Game like drills) to teach the skill. You will be given a resource on arrival, please bring your own pen to write notes and annotations. There will also be opportunities to ask questions.

Volleyball BOP in collaboration with VNZ are seeking expressions of interest for a Level III Develop (Te Whanake) Coach Award. Please see below information, express your interest, and share with others in the community that might be suitable.
Requirement: To complete the programme, coaches are required to attend 6 modules as well as show evidence of reflection and learning over an 8-month period.
What will I learn? Coaches will learn about attacking, transition, defending, and advanced volleyball techniques, as well as generic coaching material such as leadership, developing decision makers, and understanding the people we coach.
