Social Beach Volleyball Term 4 2024

4 a-side social beach is back for term 4! We will again be running 2 nights - Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 8 weeks.

Come down and have some fun at the beauiful Mount Maunganui Main Beach on Tuesday's and Wednesday's after work. Enjoy a good night of exercise while having fun with family and friends. Join the awesome atmosphere of the 4 a-side competition. Beach volleyball is an awesome way to keep active, and meet lots of new people. All skill levels are welcome!

All Draws

Dates: (includes both Tuesday's and Wednesday's)

Tuesday's are now full! We still have spots left on Wednesday night.

October: 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th

November: 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 26th and 27th (beach rest period on the 19th and 20th of November)

December: 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th

The Tauranga City Council have a one week rest period for the beach. There will be no games on the 19th and 20th of November, but don't worry, there is still 8 weeks of games!

Game Times: 6:00pm, 6.30pm or 7.00pm.

Cost: $265 per team

Registrations close on the 6th of October!

There is a restriction of 72 teams per night - so you need to get in quick!

Once we have reached maximum capacity, teams who register after this will be put on a waitlist.

Please note that if games are cancelled they are not made up for or refundable as weather and other beach bookings are outside of our control.

Cancelations and weather updates will be made by 3pm by email.

Payment must be made by the 6th of October 2024. If you do not pay by this date, you will not be added to the draw and won't be able to play.

VBOP have a strict No Pay, No Play policy. Fees must be paid by the set date. Please follow this link to view the full policy.

Please note all fees must be paid using the pay now debit or credit card option (at the bottom of this page) or bank transfer. We do not have on site eftpos.

Cancelations

If your team is unable to play or players are away please try to find replacement players or contact volleyball BOP as soon as possible so we can re-do the draw.
