Regional Referee Course - July 2025

As part of our new VBOP Academy, we're committed to developing not just players and coaches — but referees too. The Regional Referee Course is a key opportunity for athletes, coaches, and club members to step into officiating or take their skills to the next level.

With Midlands and Club Nationals just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to get match-ready.

This course includes an in-person course and a voucher code that can be used to take your exam online.

Cost: $15 – costs cover in-person course and a voucher code that can be used to cover cost of online exam

Course Dates & Locations:

• Otumoetai College – Monday, July 28

• Whakatāne High School – Wednesday, July 31

Time: course runs from 6:00–8:00 PM on both dates

Important Pre-requisite:

It is ideal for you to have completed the local referee course prior to attending this session.  If you haven't done so already, please complete.  It is a fully online module that takes about 40 mins to complete.
