When: Kings Birthday weekend. Saturday 1st June - Monday 3rd June 2024 (Note that BOP teams will travel to and from the event by minivans on Friday 31st May and will travel home on Tuesday 4th June).

Where: Akau Tangi Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington .

Athlete Eligibility Criteria: This year there will be four different age grades:

  • Under 17 - athletes born in 2008 or after;

  • Under 19 - athletes born in 2006 and 2007;

  • Under 23 - athletes born between 2002 and 2005; and

  • Senior - athletes born 2001 or before.

Volleyball BOP Programme Info

VBOP Teams: Volleyball BOP will endeavour to support as many teams as practicable to attend the event subject to tournament criteria (entries are limited to two teams per age grade, per gender from each region)

Approximate Cost: TBC 

Trials: Sunday 10th March, Location QEYC. 

Cost: $10

Trial times are as follows:

  • U17 Men and Women - 9.00am-10.45am;

  • U19 Men and Women - 10.45pm-12.30pm;

  • U23 & Senior Men and Women 12.30pm-2.15pm

Trainings: Weekend slots have been booked in April & May, however times will be picked by coaches to what works best for the team selected. More information to come.
