Senior IPC Trial Registration

Think you’ve got what it takes to represent the Bay? Here’s your chance! Sign up for trials and get ready to spike, serve, and set your way onto the court.

This years Senior IPC tournament will be held in Wellington.

VBOP are aiming to send a total of 10 teams with 10 players per team:

  • U17 Girls A and Development

  • U17 Boys A and Development

  • U19 Girls A and Development

  • U19 Boys A and Development

  • Senior Women’s

  • Senior Men

Athlete Eligibility Criteria

  • U17 Grades (Boys and Girls) - Players born in 2010 and after – i.e. can’t turn 17 in 2026

  • U19 Grades (Boys and Girls) - Players born in 2008 and after – i.e. can’t turn 19 in 2026

Trial details

Date: Sunday, April 12th, 2025

Location: Haumaru Sports and Recreation Centre, 483 Cameron Road, Tauranga 3110

Times:  Trials will run from 9am to 5pm. Athletes will be allocated to a group after registrations close and your trial time will be emailed to you prior to the 12th.

Trial Cost: $15 per athlete.

For athletes who are selected to one of our Senior IPC Teams:

Tournament Dates: May 29 - Jun 2 (Kings Birthday Weekend); Travelling on May 29 and June 2

Location: Ākau Tangi Sports Centre, Wellington

Training Details 

Trainings will be on Sunday afternoons starting April 19th until May 24th, 2026. Coaches/Team may had hold additional training/different locations which will be communicated after selection of teams.

Fees: (please note that trial fees are not included in these fees)

  • For Senior Mens/Womens teams: Between $600 and $700. This includes entry fees, accomodation, van hire and costs, laundry costs, and court hire for trainings. Food is not included in costs

  • For U17/U19 teams: Between $850 and $900. This includes entry fees, accomodation, van hire and costs, laundry costs, food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and court hire for trainings.

You will be notified if you make a team after trials. The player fees are only due once you have been selected and we will set up a payment schedule for everyone.
