Our popular VBOP Holiday Camps are back - with an exciting new twist! Across three action-packed days, athletes will develop their volleyball skills, build confidence, make friends and have plenty of fun. The first two days focus on skill development and games, before we finish with an awesome Festival Day featuring team competitions, 6v6 matches, music and a special camp T-shirt!

Our 4 a-side Social Beach League is back for term 4 2026. This league is a great way to play some beach volleyball with friends and family. Anyone can join and we have 3 grades so there is a place for everybody! Register your team now!

BOP junior SS indoor champs
October-November 2026
The BOP Junior Secondary School Championships are back for 2026! It’s a chance for players to represent their school, compete against teams from across the Bay, and battle it out for the Bay Champs title.

Mauao Beach Events
The Mauao Beach Events are a key part of the VBOP beach volleyball calendar, bringing together athletes for a day of competitive beach volleyball in Mount Maunganui. Each event provides an opportunity for players to compete at a high level on the iconic Mount Main Beach.

Our Junior Invitational Tournament is back! Happening the same week as NIJSS, this event is perfect for teams not attending North Islands who want to compete in a fun, local event.

The VBOP Junior Secondary School Beach Volleyball Championships bring together Year 9 and 10 students from schools across the Bay of Plenty for a day of beach volleyball competition.

The BOP Senior Secondary School Beach Volleyball Championships bring together Year 11–13 students from schools across the Bay of Plenty for a day of beach volleyball competition.

Our High Performance Beach Programme is for established secondary school athletes (beach or indoor) who are ready to take their game to the next level. This programme provides quality coaching and development opportunities for athletes striving to compete at a higher level.

The U17 and U19 Beach IPC Programme is an important part of Volleyball Bay of Plenty’s representative pathway, giving young athletes the opportunity to represent the Bay and compete against other regions from across New Zealand.
